PETRONAS Twin Towers

This an old photos of The Petronas Towers aka Petronas Twin Towers aka Menara Berkembar Petronas. I have been keeping these inside my hard drives since 2011. Well, it is time to put it into good use I think. The Petronas Twin Towers are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building was officially opened by Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad on 1 August 1999.
On April 15, 1996, the Council on Tall Buildings named the Petronas Towers the tallest in the world. It remains as the tallest buildings in the world from until surpassed by Taipei 101 in 2004.
The towers were designed by Argentinian architect César Pelli. They chose a distinctive postmodern style to create a 21st century icon for Kuala Lumpur. Read the rest of this entry »
Cameron Highland
Many changes have occurred at Cameron Highlands since I last visited the place more than two decades ago (Yup! that long
). Most notably is the weather – Wow! Not so cold anymore la. It used to be freezing early in the morning and I would rather skip the morning shower but now I’ve no problem staying in the bathroom for more than half an hour. The place got greener and more plants are planted here. It’ really a nice place to take photos if you’re a photographer. I hope you enjoy today’s photo as much as I enjoyed taking it.
