Recently, I attended a seminar on HSE. One of the speakers was from a 1MDB subsidiary and the participants were teasing him on issues regarding the company’s mismanagement. Apparently, he was quick to absolve himself by stating clearly that his role is limited to occupational safety and health. The attendees were nice and nobody pushed the issue. However, you can’t help but think that 1MDB has now become the joke of the century in Malaysia, if not in the world already.
Having the name ‘1MDB’ in your resume makes you a target of either hate or jokes – and could adversely affect your credibility. Everywhere we go people are poking fun about it. It’s a complete disaster, a catastrophe at the highest scale.
Of course, there are still people defending the company and our beleaguered Prime Minister, who is until today unable to convincingly address many issues raised by the public. I have to put the word ‘convincingly‘ here since 1MDB defenders keep on arguing that their bosses had answered all issues. In truth, they did not. All the while they just shift the goal posts and put endless absurdity to the issue.
Not only do they spin, they also revert to lies after lies. It is becoming a complete shenanigan. Oh God, what has happened to our beloved country?
Is there light at the end of the tunnel?
Please let there be.
This is very sad. In the end, we are angry not because of the money lost but the way we are being treated!
Like a FOOL!
I guess that’s what they want us to become nowadays – poor and stupid. So, we will keep relying on the BR1M and any other easy money from the government.
They are slowly turning the people into beggars every day.
Well! That’s not going to happen!
I believe Malaysians aren’t stupid. Perhaps at the moment they are just afraid of SOSMA and all those stuff. I also had to think not once, or twice, but many times before publishing this article.
But I need to do my part.
We can just rely on the old man to do everything for us.
We should not be intimidated and we should stand up and fight against injustice and wrongdoings for the sake of our nation and our children. There are no two ways about it if we want to save our country!
So, I post this article as a mark of protest to the current administration and not just the PM. They should all resign en bloc. I hope other bloggers will follow suit and not just limited to so-po bloggers only.
- It doesn’t have to be a long and excellent article.
- A single line of posting “I have had enough PM, please step down’, would be sufficient.
To the authorities, please note that I’m not inciting any hatred or call for a revolt against the government. Nor am I asking the rakyat to do Bersih thingy and do demo in front of the PM Office or any part of this country. So, please don’t SOSMA me and block my blog. I’m just using my right to freedom of expression and speech to express my feelings.
At the moment I am 100% sure that our PM has zero integrity and credibility in the eyes of the rakyat. So, he definitely has to go. I’m sorry Sir but your time is up.
Thank you for your service and we’d appreciate it if you do not extend your service as our Prime Minister.
