Honestly, I enjoyed this movie better than Inception – In this story, Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, without much memory on what or why. Some time later, he discovers that he, or his mind, was on a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.
Then the train exploded again, and again, and again.
He was supposed to learn more about the bomber each time he’s in the person’s mind.
“Source Code” is a program that enables a person to inhabit another man’s mind and therefore assumes his experience in the last 8 minutes of that man’s life. With a looming and much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.
This suspence-thriller, with action-packed and fast moving storyline, is directed by Duncan Jones (Moon) and also starred by Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, and Jeffrey Wright.
