Have you watched Fast and Furious 7?
I bet you have.
After all, the seventh installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise is currently dominating the box office charts of every territory it was released in, including Malaysia. Last week saw Furious 7 take $392 million worldwide.
It is the highest-grossing global opening of 2015 to date!
I’m not sure how long it will stay HOT!
One thing for sure, the people who brought us this movie is working hard to keep the momentum going.
On TV, I keep seeing the trailers of the movie.
On the web, there are many banners and advertising materials used.
While in the shopping mall last week, I saw these:
Those cars were spotted at the ground floor, Centre Atrium, 1 Borneo Hypermall , Kota Kinabalu.
It is part of: The Fast and The Furious 7 Movie Promo Roadshow with OPPO.

Back to the movie….
I know many Fast and Furious fans have been waiting for this movie. It is the seventh and the LAST installment which will put an end to the money-spinning franchise that started in 2001 and has made over $2.4 billion.
Then there is also the no-small-matter of paying respect to the late Paul Walker.
“This is Paul Walker’s last film, and it was marketed as such to evoke some emotion,” said Eric Handler, an analyst with MKM Partners.
“It’s trying to tug on the heartstrings, and that’s a good recipe for success.”
I’m not a big fan of Fast & The Furious but I did watch most of the series. The original Fast & The Furious (2001) and Tokyo Drift (2006) are probably my favourites. Nonetheless, I do think Furious 7 is quite entertaining and should be in my top three.
How about you?
