I was in KK this morning with my wife and the little one, doing some last minute ‘raya shopping’. The road was very clear today as many people had left to celebrate Eid al-Fitr at their ‘kampung’. It is a good time to shop and at some store, the price dropped well below 50%. There were many parking spaces available for us to choose and the mood in most places were good. Ohh, how I wish every day was like this as I hate traffic jam and spending many hours looking for parking.
It is a good time to drive into the city and finding whatever that you want to find.
Hari Raya Puasa
My kids were excited as today is the last day of ‘puasa’ and tomorrow will be Hari Raya. I guess they’ll be dreaming about ‘duit raya’ tonight 😉 .
We will be celebrating Eid al-Fitr in KK this year and Insya-Allah visiting our family in Johor later this year. I’m looking forward to fill up my tummy with kelupis, lemang and rendang and playing fire crackers with the kids ha.. ha.. But more importantly to enjoy a happy and joyous moments with my family and friends. It is time to celebrate and rejoice in the glory and the graces of Allah.
Last but not least, I would like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for a blessed holiday to Muslim communities around the world. May this Eid bring all the comforts you have ever wanted and all the joy and laughter you have ever wished.
