If you have read my previous posting on JDR, you are probably aware of the existence of an online site called Job Di Rumah (JDR) that helps many Malaysians to find freelance jobs online and work from the comfort of their home.
It’s not as easy peasy as many would hope but if you read and follow the instructions (written in Bahasa Malaysia) carefully, you should be able to make a decent income with the guidance of Job Di Rumah.
I will try to explain this in a two or three- parts article without divulging the secrets and exposing the information inside JDR.
If you are interested to find out more, please register with them
There is plenty of useful information that you can find there plus a huge list of recommended jobs for you to try.
Why Job Di Rumah?
One thing about JDR is the site is tailor-made for Malaysians [dibuat khas bagi rakyat Malaysia]. It is created by Malaysians for Malaysians seeking to work from home by taking advantage of the new era of internet age where there are no borders in earning an income.
With a few clicks of the mouse, you would be ready to submit your job application to various employers across the world.
The question you need to ask yourself is: are you up for the task?
Let me give you some motivating factors first. I joined Job Di Rumah last year and I know that it works! (Ia betul-betul berkesan). You can read the testimonials by fellow Malaysians
HERE. You just need to be disciplined, diligent, patient and believe that you can be successful.
That’s why I asked you the above question: are you up for the task?
If you are, then there is no limit to what you can achieve.
When I first joined JDR, I was inspired by an article by Forbes.Com. There are people who make up to US$85,000 (MYR 280,372.50) per year by doing freelance jobs on the internet.
I still have a long way to go to achieve that standard. But I’m striving hard to be at least half as good as them.
When you join Job Di Rumah, you are actually taking a step forward to become a businessman or freelancer.
Yes, you will be hired by someone. Yes, you will be asked to do certain tasks BUT in truth you are your own boss (Jadi bos sendiri). You can choose whether to apply for, accept or refuse the job.
You will do it in your own time and you will submit your completed work to the people that hired you.
In short, you are employed under ‘Contract For Services’ (Kontrak Bagi Perkhidmatan Yang Diberikan). It’s a kind of contract that is still ‘vague’ for many Malaysians, especially those who are used to ‘makan gaji’ their whole life.
Do read my article on ‘Contract Of Service And Contract For Services’ HERE.
Jobs At Job Di Rumah
As a person who is hired under the terms of Contract For Services, you are actually like a contractor. Every job you apply is like submitting a tender to do certain work or services.
Here’s where you need to register with Job Di Rumah. They will guide you on (among others):
- where to find the job,
- how to apply for the job,
- how to increase your chances of success and
- even email you lists of all jobs that may suit you based on your skill.
The more skills you have the more jobs you can apply and the bigger the potential income that you can get.
I will explain further in the second part of the article. If you can’t wait to read the next installment, then join Job Di Rumah now and get all the info there. Or in the meantime, you can do yourself a favour by polishing your skills – typing, MsExcel, MsWords, Scanning, Graphic Design etc.
You should also work on your English as well to gain more advantage from this program. Trust me, it will definitely help you a lot.
Until next time, thank you for reading this blog.
