Burger Bakar At KK Burger Bakar

This Saturday, we’re planning to have a family gathering in a secret place (yeah, right!) to celebrate our daughter’s birthday 😀 . The arrangement was made by her lovely uncles and aunties and we are truly grateful and obliged.

I’m thinking about preparing ‘Burger Bakar’ (Grilled Burger) for my daughter.

I’m still unsure how to do it but I was totally inspired by folks at KK Burger Bakar when I tasted their wonderful burgers a couple of months ago.

 Although they used their own custom recipe to prepare the burger, they also told me that any burger will work – ‘Ramli Burger’, ‘Desa Burger’ or even ‘Giant Burger’ will do.

What I need is a place to grill and the rest should be ‘easy peasy’, I guess.

KK Burger Bakar

As I prepare for the birthday party, I would like recommend to those who live in KK to check out KK Burger Bakar at Tanjung Aru.

• It is located at an open food court area situated next to Tanjung Aru Plaza.
• Should not be too difficult to locate the place if you’re a local, I think.

They have another stall at Wilayah Kepayan Perdana in front of Singgah Sokmo Restaurant. Not too far from Balai Polis Kepayan and Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).

KK Burger Bakar are open from Tuesday to Sunday (close on Monday) from 5.30 pm to 11.00 pm.

Go check it out and try out their famous offerings such as the ‘Lava Gunung Kinabalu’ Burger. See how many bites you need to take to finish the huge burger. 😉

If you asked me, I would definitely say that Burger Bakar tastes better than most other Burgers than I have eaten, save for the ‘out of this world’ Burger King’s Double Mushroom Swiss. It is always great to eat food with less oil and I like how they mixed all the other ingredients and make it a delicious exotic food. I don’t like the size though. I think it is way too BIG! It doesn’t feel like eating burger when you need the help of fork and knife to finish it.

Still, it does not stop me from recommending KK Burger Bakar to all of you. Do check it out or try grill it yourself. 😀
